Disney has been pulling out all of the stops for International Women’s History Month this year!
From Encanto desserts to Princess coffee, we’ve had some great treats this month with some serious girl power. And, we’ve got Women’s History Month to thank for bringing one of our FAVORITE margaritas back to EPCOT!
You may remember the seriously delicious margarita called The Lily that debuted at the El Artista Hambriento booth in the Mexico Pavilion during the 2022 EPCOT Festival of the Arts — isn’t she GORGEOUS.
Model Lily Aldridge had collaborated with La Cava del Tequila to create the drink exclusively for the festival. It had Blanco Tequila, Violet Essence Infusion, Rose Petal Liqueur, Cranberry, and Lime Juice. But, like all good things, this too came to an end…until NOW!
The Lily is now officially on the menu at La Cava del Tequila in the Mexico Pavilion! Today is the FIRST day that you can stop by and order up the new and improved version of the drink and Lily Aldridge stopped by to celebrate the occasion!
The Lily Margarita was originally a part of the Festival of the Arts but now has made its way permanently onto the menu at La Cava del Tequila. The margarita may no longer be served in a souvenir cup with “xo Lily” signed on the bottom, but it’s still JUST as pretty!
The other big difference is that it’s actually made with a different kind of tequila! This version features Casa Dragones blanco tequila, cranberry-lime juice, housemade rose petal & shimmering violet essence, with a rose-hibiscus salt rim.
And, the cool thing about the tequila upgrade? Casa Dragones Tequila was founded by a woman and for every Lily Margarita sold through April, Casa Dragones will be donating to Women for Women, a non-profit organization that supports women who are survivors of war.
We loved The Lily Margarita before for its tart taste and subtle hints of rose and now it’s only better! You can give it a try at La Cava del Tequila for $33 now.
