REVIEW: 50th Anniversary Celebration Cone is an Interesting Treat from Swirls on the Water at Disney Springs

Today we stopped by Swirls on the Water at Disney Springs and tried their Walt Disney World 50th Celebration Cone.

50th Celebration Cone – $5.49

Dole Whip Lemon and Cookie Dough soft-serve swirl in a cone with EARidescent sprinkles and a Mickey Topper

Oddly, these two flavors work well together. The sweet and slight tartness could best be described as a “white chocolate lemon cookie dough” flavor.

Except for the blue color, the cone is standard, and the sprinkles are stuck on with sugary icing.

The blue cone has EARidescent sprinkles.

It came topped with a glittery white chocolate Mickey Mouse head.

The ear hat on top is crisp and breaks cleanly.

The blue ice cream imparts a strong cookie dough flavor with the chocolate chips as an aftertaste.

The lemon is nice and sweet. Overall, this is a somewhat different flavor profile, but it works!
