What’s New in EPCOT: TWO Vegan Dishes and a $2,700…Mask?!

With the 2022 Flower and Garden Festival in full swing, it’s been a busy few weeks in EPCOT!

Spaceship Earth

A popular attraction closed in EPCOT last week, and we also noticed the arrival of Spring Break crowds. This week we tried some plant-based dishes and did some shopping too! Come along with us.

EPCOT Food Updates

We tried two new plant-based dishes at Sunshine Seasons, and while we REALLY enjoyed one dish, the other…was not our favorite. First up is the Jackfruit Gyro, which is made with jackfruit served with pickled onions, red peppers, fresh cucumbers, and tzatziki sauce on a pita. While we did enjoy the onions and cucumbers, that’s about all we liked. This dish is served cold, and we wished the jackfruit had more seasoning.

But we did enjoy the Vegetable Korma, which is made with plant-based chicken and cashews, peas, carrots, onions, and rice. While we didn’t love the plant-based chicken, we thought this dish had a great coconut curry flavor, and it was cooked well AND a good portion size!

Both of these plant-based dishes are $9.99 at Sunshine Seasons!
