Hey there DFB friends, we’re here with another update about what’s new in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
There are reasons to continue to expect a LONG line for one popular Hollywood Studios ride, and the park also celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with a surprise photo op! Read all about it here.
Hollywood Studios Food Updates
Hollywood Brown Derby got some menu changes this week, with the addition of appetizers Roasted Tomato Cream Soup and Escargot Casino, and new entrees including Free-Range Chicken Coq au Vin, Seasonal Fish, Sustainable Salmon Coulibiac, Tomato Risotto, and Braised Short Rib.
We’ll be visiting soon to check out these new menu items, so stay tuned for a review!
Hollywood Studios Construction Updates
Dok-Ondar is back behind his curtain again, even though he emerged earlier this week. We miss you, Dok!
And on St. Patrick’s Day, there was a one-day-only holiday photo prop on Sunset Boulevard! We spotted a PhotoPass photographer with the prop.
It’s not a bad idea to watch out for special, limited-time photo props on holidays and special occasions in Disney World!

And Tower of Terror has had long wait times lately, and we found out from a Cast Member that two of the elevators are closed, which means the ride is operating at half of its usual capacity.
We’ve seen the wait times exceed 100 minutes, even up to 150 minutes! The Cast Member told us it could take months before the ride returns to operating at full capacity, so you might want to plan for a LONG line.
