There is one unique experience at Disney Parks that is completely for kids.

The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique allows kids to get a makeover, with hairstyling, makeup, costume, and accessories to become their favorite Disney princess or knight. This service, though, still has not yet returned to Disney World, but it will be available soon somewhere else — aboard Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Wish.

Disney recently shared some new details about the onboard Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique guests will find on the Wish. Calling it a “storybook salon,” it will feature wood details, chandeliers with candle lights, and design elements from Cinderella. Guests will also get to appreciate a mural “featuring a majestic wooded landscape and Cinderella Castle sparkling in the distance,” which will be perfect as a photo backdrop for kids after their makeovers.

Okay, we’re totally jealous that this is just for kids ages 3-12 — like LOOK at this boutique!

Also, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on ALL Disney Cruise ships will offer additional NEW looks for kids, including Captain Minnie Mouse (with a nautical headband) and Captain Mickey Mouse (with a captain’s hat), based on those characters’ Disney Cruise Line looks. There will also be a new Ariel look, complete with a matching tiara and necklace, (which will be perfect for attending a performance of The Little Mermaid on the Wish!).

Okay, so we really want a Captain Minnie Mouse makeover! So cool, right? Disney did not give any details on when these new looks would be available on its other ships, but the Disney Wish will embark on its first cruise on July 14th, 2022.

The Disney ‘Wish’

You can book cruises on the Wish now on the Disney Cruise Line website — makeovers at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique can be made in advance by visiting “My Reservations” online and accessing “My Disney Cruise” and “Onboard Fun” or by visiting the Boutique once onboard the ship.

Note that reservations are available on a first-come first-serve basis, and cancellations must be done 24 hours before the scheduled time — anything after that will result in a $10 per person cancellation fee, which also applies to no-shows.

We’ll keep you updated on ALL Disney Wish news, so stay tuned for more!
