Whenever Disney releases a Foodie Guide, I get so excited to see what will be on the list. This time around, the Foodie Guide that’s been released is for Earth Day, which is on April 22nd.
Disney noted in the release that they are dedicated to reducing their environmental footprint and supporting conservation efforts. These efforts can be seen all around the parks, but at Animal Kingdom, you can learn so much about what Disney does to help our planet. What better way to celebrate the earth than eating food and snacks inspired by what the planet has to offer?
I’ll give you my list of must-get snacks and drinks after we take a peek at all of the offerings. Let’s get started!

Earth Day is also Animal Kingdom’s birthday, hence why most of these items are located at that park. This is a great way to celebrate Earth Day and Animal Kingdom’s birthday.
A few things caught my eye that I want to try while celebrating Earth Day. One of those is the Flamingo Cupcake, made with strawberry cake filled with strawberry compote and topped with guava frosting, strawberry crisp pearls, and white chocolate wings. This cupcake sounds like it will be jam-packed with flavors, and it looks so cute. The Flamingo Cupcake is a treat that seems picture perfect for social media, and I hope it tastes as good as it looks. The Flamingo Cupcake can be found at Pizzafari and Flame Tree Barbecue.
At Restaurantosaurus Lounge, there is a drink that I want to try called Crave the Wave. This drink is made with refreshing vodka, blue curaçao, and lemonade topped with a lemon wheel. I always go for any drink that has lemonade during these hotter months because it just gives the drink a more refreshing feel to it, in my opinion. Over at Animal Kingdom Lodge, they have a plant-based dessert option called the Plant (Based) in Boot. This treat is a chocolate spice cake with coconut ganache in a chocolate boot. This is a brand new treat for this year’s Earth Day and is only available on April 22nd.
