REVIEW: Electric Sweet & Salty Popcorn is Colorful, But Not Much Else at Disneyland Park for the 50th Anniversary of the Main Street Electrical Parade

The Main Street Electrical Parade is back at Disneyland for its 50th anniversary, and to mark the occasion, there’s a variety of new treats to enjoy around the park, including some pretty sweet and salty popcorn.

This special popcorn mix can be found at the popcorn cart near “it’s a small world.”

Electric Sweet & Salty Popcorn – $6.75

Colorful sweet kettle corn combined with butter-flavored popcorn

As you may have guessed from the picture, this popcorn can be served in the light-up Elliott popcorn bucket, which sells for $35.00.

It certainly looks pretty, with the blue, green and red kettle corn kernels really standing out among the yellow popcorn.

Ultimately, this is standard Disneyland kettle corn mixed with standard Disneyland popcorn. It’s good, but in all honesty, nothing special.

If you’re just craving kettle corn on its own, you can find it at the Town Square popcorn cart, where it’s called “Electric Pop.”

Would you try this mix, or do you think it’s too plain for the majesty of the Main Street Electrical Parade? Share your thoughts in the comments!
