Greetings from another incredible day here at the Universal Orlando Resort. The parks close early for Grad Bash this weekend, so we decided to get up nice and early to hit the parks before the crowds. As soon as we arrived in CityWalk, we spotted a new window display at the Universal Studios Store.

Goodbye, Secrets of Dumbledore, and hello, Dominion! Jurassic World: Dominion has taken over yet another store, and this display is huge.

Both parks have Early Park Admission today, but we’re heading over to Islands of Adventure first.

Only a 60 minute wait for Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. These early mornings are great. It’s Friday, but the morning has been very quiet.

Sometimes we skip the rides just to roam around the park and take in the beauty. This is the perfect time for those magical photos in Hogsmeade.

When the wait time says “Ride Now” for VelociCoaster, it sounds like we better listen. That means it’s a walk on, and there’s basically no wait to ride.

People are slowly starting to arrive at the park as we’re making our way out. Set those alarm clocks and get up early.

Let’s grab some Dino Chow from Island Market and Export Candy Shoppe and head over to Universal Studios Florida.

Passing through CityWalk, we spotted something new at the former location of the Groove. We’ve been keeping a close eye on the construction in CityWalk on the rumored escape rooms. We can hear lots of work happening inside, and now we spotted a bit of metal added along the bottom of the frame over the entrance.

It’s quiet over here, too. For now. We know the crowds are coming, so we’re going to enjoy this while it lasts.

Welcome back, summer! New menus have been added to the food trucks in the park, and we’re excited to see the Nashville Hot Mac and Cheese returning. Check out the menus in our post here.

The crowds aren’t bad, thankfully. It’s beautiful weather, too. It always pays to get up early.

There were some issues at the Hopping Pot, and the location was temporarily closed. Team Members were directing guests to the Fountain of Fair Fortune and the Leaky Cauldron for Butterbeer and other beverages.

As we mentioned early, it’s a Grad Bash night, and we spotted the T-shirts for sale in MIB Gear.
